Providing innovative solutions all leading towards a sustainable agriculture.

Our goal is to lead the way through innovation towards scaling sustainable agriculture. Our range of products are all made from renewable sources, 100% plant based materials and leave no harmful residues. All  built to help you achieve emission reductions and growth goals. All products are baked by science to increase crop yield, decrease harmful runoff, improve soil health and promote plant protection.

How does it work?

Soils are the housing centers for all plant nutrients. Nutrients such as calcium (Ca 2+) and magnesium (Mg2+) hold a positive charge, commonly referred to as cations. These become fixed in soils. Nutrients such as nitrate (NO3-) and Sulfate (SO₄²-) hold a negative charge, commonly referred to as anions. The anions will attract and hold to the cations, such that opposite poles of the magnet attract each other. At the same time they will repel other anions, as the poles of the same magnet will repel. The total number of cations the soil can hold, or the total negative charge, is the soil cation exchange capacity (CEC). Increasing the CEC increases the capacity of soil retention of nutrients, such as potassium (K+) in plant available form. Making the nutrients more accessible in the plants root zone for absorption.

Each Kan Grow product is designed to increasing the CEC in the soils. This allows for improved plant nutrient uptake. Which also results in efficient absorption but less phosphorus buildups present in the soil and less runoff to neighboring bodies of water.

In-field Research

There have been numerous projects completed to prove the benefits of the technology. Each study is performed by a reliable source, such as the institute of the University of Saskatchewan. The following studies have concluded the following technology to:

  • Promote plant growth and protection
  • Reduce fertility programs of weeds, insects, and fungi
  • Release nutrients
  • Reduce contaminated runoff
  • Increase crop yield
